At Priority Life Care communities, honoring our veterans means honoring the stories, sacrifices, and legacies that helped shape our country. 🇺🇸

Last week, Brentwood at Niles hosted a beautiful Veterans Recognition Ceremony featuring certificate presentations, a special bell ringing tribute, and the unveiling of the new “Brentwood Fallen Heroes” plaque in memory of the veterans in their community who have passed.

It was a meaningful afternoon filled with gratitude, remembrance, and togetherness as residents, families, staff, and community partners came together to recognize those who served.

A heartfelt thank you to the Alzheimer’s Association, Heartland Hospice, and Miller Vets for helping make this tribute possible.

Every step we take is another step forward for PLC and the senior housing industry as a whole.

We’re incredibly proud to have both and representing PLC at the Growth Conference 2026 this year.

Sevy served as Co-Chair for the conference, helping kick off the week with an inspiring welcome speech and reception focused on the future of growth, leadership, and innovation in senior living.

“What we mean when we say: Queen Behavior.”

At Cortland Riverside Gardens, queen behavior looks like confidence, laughter, crowns, glam, and women who deserve to feel celebrated at every stage of life.

Every morning, Kim greets residents with, “Good morning, beautiful.” And too often, the response was, “No I’m not. I’m old.”

So she decided to remind them exactly who they are.

This glamour photoshoot wasn’t just about pretty pictures. It was about helping these women see themselves the way we see them... beautiful, radiant, strong, and worthy of being treated like queens.

Because getting older should never mean feeling invisible.
