Health and Aging Brain Study Health Disparities Among Hispanics Hispanics/Latinos are at increased risk for Alzheimer’s Disease and will experience the largest growth in Alzheimer’s cases of any ethnic/racial group by 2060.

The HABLE study, at UNTHSC, is one of the largest research studies of aging and Alzheimer’s Disease in Mexican Americans in the United States and our team seeks to understand the biological, social and environmental factors that impact brain aging among diverse communities.
