We love our FWISD Principals and Nurses! Thank you Nurse Cossette at Luella Merrett Elementary for securing 81% of consent forms for the team to do in-school eye exams. 64 students received comprehensive eye exams and 56 of those students received prescription eyeglasses 👓

12 FWISD elementary schools served - 369 students received comprehensive eye exams - 288 eyeglasses prescribed

Thank you to the Alcon volunteers, FWISD faculty and administrators, Fort Worth Community Eye Clinic, Cedar Springs Eye Clinic, and the ACVC board for helping us complete such a successful event!
We are looking forward to our next one in January 🤓

The ACVC team hosted their very first dispensing event at W.M. Green Elementary School. 78 students and their families were invited to pick up their prescription glasses, meet the team, and enjoy Cousin’s BBQ for dinner!
