✅ Traveling
✅ went out to eat
✅ Big family function
✅ No kitchen.
These are all common excuses I get why people DONT hit their macro numbers OR eat off plan.
I wanted to make a post showing it is POSSIBLE to do all of the above, stay present, AND NOT RESTRICT yourself 🥹🥰
Things I did to prepare:
1. Cooked proteins in advance (egg whites, salmon and shrimp) for the days I’d be gone (2-3 days).
2. Kept them in the hotel fridge 🤯
3. Left my freezer packs with the front desk for the ride back 🤯 (yup they’ll keep freezables for you!
4. Kept my carbs low earlier in the day since I knew we’d be going out later (not NO CARBS, just lower- I get shaky if I dont eat any… wild. Almost like the body NEEDS carbs)
5. Ate my first meal at little later in the day so I wouldn’t get hungry too soon or run out of meals (start eating around 11am)
6. Kept my water intake high and stayed consistent with my steps. (Keep that water jug on me!)
