Rescinding the Public Charge will have implications on Health Insurance. This would results on Immigrants having the option to enroll in Medicaid and Obamacare with subsidies without fear of not getting a Green card or a Citizenship. Let’s talk about the SHORT TERM plan I reviewed for someone today which had $15 K cap on a kidney stone incident (this is one example of issues I found on that plan). If you have to have a surgery for kidney stone you can’t pass, it is about a $30 K surgery. This is why we get insurance. For the things we couldn’t afford. So, yeah, technically the broker who sells you short term isn’t untruthful...the plan does have some catastrophic coverage. But for me, if that catastrophic coverage will still leave you broke, then you might have been better off saving the money. Let’s look at what you have and let me show you some real catastrophic options. And never just assume what you have is adequate. I am an expert and happy to take a look.

It happened again. I was back and forth for a while with someone who was looking to get health coverage.
They put it off and put it off then called me yesterday after they had a major medical event happen in their life.
Now what? Well they played roulette for a little too long and now I am unable to help because their health condition changed. It breaks my heart that there isn’t a way to help any longer. You have to get insurance before you need it or you won’t be able to get it.

⭕️ Sad effect of this Coronavirus pandemic: loss of Medicaid benefits. States cannot afford to provide medical coverage to Millions leaving many uninsured.
