Fun fact: Jesse Arrambide, Jr. founded Pancho’s after learning large-batch cooking during WWII and bringing those skills back to his family’s El Paso bar—sharing treasured recipes like tamales and enchiladas with generations to come. 🌮❤️

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸

Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all veterans — here at Arbor Lake, across OPCO Skilled Management, and throughout America. Your courage, selfless service, and perseverance have paved the way for our freedom, and we are forever grateful.

A special thank you to for graciously hosting a beautiful Veterans Day celebration our residents were proud to attend. We also honor our administrator, Michael Ajogbor, for his remarkable service to our country and dedication to our community.

Thank you to our Activities team — Leslie, Raynetta, and Lelani — and restorative aide Jazz for helping make this meaningful day possible. We also took time to honor and remember those who never made it home with a special POW/MIA remembrance table.

Let us all take a moment to pray for our veterans and those still lost in the fight.

The Invisible Man, Gizmo, Cleopatra, and Medusa all made an appearance—bringing lots of laughs and smiles to our residents! A huge shoutout to our amazing Dietary Department for whipping up some frightfully delicious snacks for the party.

📚✨ Did you know one of the earliest known comics, The Adventures of Obadiah Oldbuck, was printed in 1842? It went on to become the very first American comic book!
