Your baby is lying sideways...now what?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Same rules apply as breech: babies can’t be born transverse, and we wait until after 28–30 weeks before really encouraging a position change.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What we can do in the meantime is make sure your body is as mobile and open as possible so baby has every reason to go head down.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At , that looks like:
✔️ Webster Technique: analyzing and adjusting your sacrum and the structures attached to it
✔️ A full forward-leaning inversion walkthrough (once you’re cleared)
✔️ The Spinning Babies “When Babies Lie Sideways” protocol to follow at home
✔️ Talking points so you know how to have informed conversations with your midwife or OB

As a prenatal chiropractor, my job is to focus on mama.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Making sure tension, tightness, or habits in your daily life aren’t the reason your baby can’t move head down.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you want ongoing support through every stage of pregnancy, I also have trimester-specific workbooks (0–20, 20–30, and 30–40+ weeks) to help you prepare your body all the way through birth. 🤍
