"El trastorno narcisista de la personalidad (NPD) es un trastorno de salud mental marcado por un patrón de grandiosidad, fijación en fantasías de poder, necesidad de admiración y falta de empatía, según el Manual Diagnóstico y Estadístico de los Trastornos Mentales (DSM-5).

Las personas con NPD pueden tener un sentido exagerado de superioridad y derecho, exhibir comportamientos y actitudes arrogantes y manipular a otros para obtener lo que quieren. Everyday I hear "my partner is a narcissist because...." or "she thinks I am a narcissist, am I really?"

"Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a mental health disorder marked by a pattern of grandiosity, fixation on power fantasies, need for admiration, and lack of empathy, according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM–5)

Individuals with NPD may have an inflated sense of superiority and entitlement, exhibit arrogant behaviors and attitudes, and manipulate others to get what they want. They may be overly sensitive to criticism, though they may hide their fragile self-esteem behind a self-important exterior." - (Sarkis, S., 09/26/22)

Everyone isn't a narcissist. Some people are just as****es! NPD is a clinical diagnosis of a personality disorder.
