ELITE THERAPY TEAM
Aviator Home Health provides an Elite Therapy staff that provides a specialized form of physical therapy called manual therapy. In manual therapy, practitioners use their hands to put pressure on muscle tissue and manipulate joints in an attempt to decrease pain caused by muscle spasm, muscle tension and joint dysfunction. Manual therapy can be helpful for a wide range of diagnoses and post-operative conditions. Includes, but not limited to:
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy (speech and swallowing dysfunction, as well as cognitive disorders)
OTHER DISCIPLINES PROVIDED:
- Medical Social Worker (help patients understand their illness or condition and provide them with information about the resources available to them to cope with the emotional, financial, and social needs that arise with a diagnoses. As an advocate for the patient, a social worker assures that patients’ emotional and social needs are met through their medical treatment)
- Home Health Aide (help with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and going to the bathroom)
