Located in the cultural gateway to the American west, Garden Terrace at Fort Worth, Texas, offers a rich experience for patients with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Our nursing home is designed as a safe, comfortable place where patients can receive the compassionate care they need from staff specially trained in dementia. In addition to 24/7 skilled nursing care, we offer physical, occupational and speech therapies on an inpatient and outpatient basis for patients to maintain higher function longer. In addition, our activities help engage residents' minds in pastimes that are meaningful to them.

We had a wonderful outing with our residents today, a trip to Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Stores for some delicious ice cream! 🍦 There’s something special about sharing a sweet treat, a few laughs, and a sunny afternoon together. ☀️

Moments like these remind us that joy is found in the little things, and sometimes, that includes a scoop of vanilla or chocolate. Thank you to our amazing team for making it happen, and to our residents for making every day meaningful. 👍
