People see “1 hour sessions” but don’t always see what goes into showing up for each one.

It’s being fully present for different people, different stories, different emotions… all in the same day.

Some days are really rewarding. Some are heavy. Most are a mix of both.

That’s why protecting time to reset matters just as much as the work itself.

You can talk about your problems over and over, but if you’re not actually processing the emotions behind them, nothing really changes. Talking can help, but real progress happens when you slow down enough to feel what’s underneath it instead of just repeating the story.

Most arguments aren’t actually about the issue, they’re about miscommunication. One person says something and the other hears something completely different, and now you’re reacting to two different realities. This simple exercise helps slow things down: one person speaks, the other reflects back what they heard, and you check if that’s actually what you meant. It sounds simple, but feeling understood can completely change the direction of a conversation.
