We are currently hiring for the following position:
Optometric Technician / Front desk

Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Greet patients / answer phones
2. Operate testing equipment / setup exam rooms
3. Verify & file medical and vision insurance
4. Sell / adjust / order glasses
5. Sell / order contact lenses
6. Assist with general office housekeeping

Candidates must meet the following:

1. Must be positive, have a pleasant personality, and work well with others
2. Good basic math skills (work with a number line and be able to calculate percentages)
3. Be a fast learner
4. Have clear written and verbal communication skills
5. Be punctual and have good attendances
6. Bilingual Spanish skills a plus
7. Retail experience preferred
8. Focus on providing great patient and customer service*

-We will provide training to qualified individuals.
-Must be able to work various shifts per week.

No experience required.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Must have reliable transportation.

In light of recent announcements from the city, county, and state officials regarding mask mandates, we would like to reinforce the importance of mask-wearing. We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines and recommendations. All patients, visitors, and staff are still required to wear a face mask in our facilities.

While we continue to be encouraged by the declining COVID-19 case counts and hospitalizations, coupled with increasing vaccinations, new COVID-19 variants are quickly spreading across our communities. Our office will continue to take protective measures including the use of face masks and the continued focus on sanitation and disinfection protocols. These protective measures will help protect our patients, their families and our staff who are at higher risk from COVID-19. We will help reschedule anyone who is not able to follow these guidelines to a later date when conditions may be improved.

Due to inclement weather conditions, we have decided to close the office tomorrow, Monday, February 15th, 2021.

If you have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow, we will be contacting you to reschedule that appointment.

We will be closely monitoring the conditions and will provide updates on a day by day basis. We follow the inclement weather closings of Keller ISD, so any day they close for inclement weather our office will close as well.
