🍌🍦 Nothing brings people together quite like ice cream!

A huge thank you to Springtown Park Rehabilitation and Care Center for inviting us to join in celebrating National Banana Split Day. Our very own Landi Reed had a blast teaming up with JJ to create a Banana Split Bar full of sweet toppings, big smiles, and happy bellies.

We’re grateful for the chance to spread joy, laughter, and a little sweetness with the residents and staff. 💛

🍌🍦 Another successful event in the books! Today, the beautiful Ms. Landi Reed from Valor Hospice teamed up with JJ to host a fabulous Banana Split Bar. What better way for these two “Soda Jerks” to celebrate National Banana Split Day than with bananas, all the toppings, and three scoops of pure heaven!

Our dining room was packed with excited residents and staff ready to dig into this sweet tradition. We were so busy (and up to our elbows in ice cream!) that we didn’t snap pictures this time—but trust us, it was a huge hit with lots of happy smiles and full bellies.

It was such a great opportunity to meet amazing partners, discover local resources, and celebrate the opening of this beautiful new facility. 🏡🎉

We had a special treat with the Valor Mobile Grill and an appearance from our CEO, Garrett, as we came together to celebrate our incredible team. 💙

A big congratulations to our chaplain Steve and our amazing social worker, Elizabeth for receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award this quarter! 🎉 Their dedication to going above and beyond for patients and families—ensuring they receive the resources and support they need—truly inspires us all.

We are so grateful for our team, the growth we’re experiencing, and the new faces joining us along the way. Here’s to continuing to care with compassion and celebrating each milestone together! 🌟

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Cleopatra “Cleo” Marowah, RN Case Manager 🌟

Meet Cleo—one of the kindest hearts and warmest smiles you’ll find at Valor Hospice. With 18 years of nursing experience as both an LVN and RN, she has spent the last 2 years pouring her compassion and expertise into caring for our patients and their families.

For Cleo, the most meaningful part of her work is “knowing I am holding someone’s hand during their most stressful and emotional times and ensuring that at their end of life they are not alone and comfortable.” This deep sense of purpose shines through in every patient and family she cares for.

When she’s not making a difference at Valor, Cleo loves traveling, gardening, spending time with her family, and trying out new foods—especially if it gives her a taste of the island life she adores. 🌴

Fun Fact: People often think Cleo is the life of the party, but she’s actually a little shy—she likes to “read the room” first before diving in.

We are so grateful for your dedication, Cleo. Your compassion and calming presence make an incredible impact on the lives you touch every day. 💙
