This week has felt really heavy.
The state of the world has made it especially hard to be a therapist right now—and on top of that, we had to say goodbye to our sweet dog yesterday. It’s been a mix of emotions, exhaustion, and trying to just keep going.
Grief and stress have a way of putting things into perspective fast. What matters most becomes really clear.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed too, I just want to gently remind you:
▪️Slow down.
▪️Soak in the little moments—they really are the big ones.
▪️Do something today that brings you even a little bit of joy.
▪️Hug your people. Be present. Let the mess wait if it needs to.
Life moves so fast, and sometimes it takes hard moments to remind us to pause and really live in it.
