Due to unsafe road conditions, there will be no residential Solid Waste collections today or tomorrow, Jan. 28. This includes garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulk waste. Regular garbage and recycling collections are set to resume on Thursday, Jan. 29, following the normal Thursday routes. To help catch up, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday customers may place extra bags out next week on Tuesday, Feb. 3, and Wednesday, Feb. 4. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3YSqAza

As winter weather continues, City of Arlington Police, Fire, Public Works, and Water Utilities are reporting to work to keep essential services running and roads as safe as possible. City of Arlington facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026: https://bit.ly/4pWIBXW

All libraries and recreation centers will remain open during regular hours to serve as warming centers for residents in need. Learn more about warming centers and overnight shelters: https://bit.ly/4jP2bE4.

Service Updates:
- All trash and recycling services are postponed for Monday; updates on rescheduling and Tuesday’s service will be shared soon.
- The Arlington Landfill will be closed.
- Handitran and Arlington On-Demand will not operate on Monday.
