Guess What?! We are so excited to announce an OPEN HOUSE on October 4th. We would love for you all to come see our new clinic, enjoy some food and fun, and visit with our staff. We are located on the SE corner of 1187 and Hemphill (google still can't find us) just down from Dutch Brothers and Walmart.

We got moved! It was a long week, but I have a fabulous team that got the clinic packed and then unpacked in just 4 days. We are still rough around the edges, but we will be open for business tomorrow (Monday, Aug. 18). We continue to ask for your patience as we still do not have internet and that means no phones or full network of computers, but we are going to make it work. There may be some glitches, but we are trying our best to get your calls. We will keep you posted and we look forward to showing off the new clinic.
Remember, the new clinic is at 449 West Rendon Crowley Road.. Google maps is not finding us yet, so it is at the South east corner of 1187 and Hemphill. The next light east of Walmart.

Just a reminder.... We are shutting down the 113 S Crowley Road and migrating to 449 West Rendon Crowley Road (SE corner of 1187 and Hemphill as Google is having troubles finding it). This means our phones, internet, and computer system is down. We will call and email everyone when the systems are up, but that may be a few days. Thanks for your patience and I can't wait for everyone to be able to see the new building!

Dear Shaffer Veterinary Family,
It looks like we will be shutting down the old office and starting the move of 1.7 miles to the new building on August 11th.
Our phones and internet will be down starting the 11th. The phones will hopefully be back up in a couple of days.
Our pharmacy will also be down. Everything is going to be packed and we won’t be able to get your meds or even look up your records until the everything is unpacked. We are going to be diligently trying to get all of that set up by the next Monday, August 18th.
What this all means…We are asking you to plan ahead. If you are going to need meds, please get them THIS week. If you will need to have your pet seen sooner rather than later, give a call early in the week as we expect things to be filling up fast as we are trying to get everyone in that needs to get in.
And most of all, we want to THANK YOU for your patients. We may be slow making appointments as we start transitioning and settle into the new clinic and getting it totally unpacked.
Keep an eye out. We will be having an open house and look forward to welcoming everyone into our new building.

Dear Shaffer Veterinary Family,
As many of you know, we are building a new building and it is getting very close to the building being done. I am so proud of this new building and it is going to be a great place to serve you and your pets. We, unfortunately, got stuck in curbside because we grew so incredibly fast in the last few years and we look forward to welcoming you into our new building.
That also means we are going to have some time to move. We are hoping to be down or closed only a short amount of time, but some services may become limited as we dismantle the clinic here at the old building and get them moved to the new. As we know how things are going, we will be trying to let everyone know the schedule by sending out emails and posting on Facebook. We don’t have an exact date, but more than likely the big move will be the middle of August and hopefully it will be a long weekend.
We thank you for your patience as we go through this transition. Please be doing an inventory and make sure you have the medications you need during these down times.

It is 3 miles from the old clinic on the SE corner of 1187 and Hemphill. That would be the next light from Walmart toward 35 before you go under the railroad tracks.

Shaffer Veterinary Hospital is CLOSED today due to the weather. It does not look bad now, but according to the weather man it will continue to deteriorate. We will continue to watch the weather carefully to see if we can open tomorrow (Friday). The guideline still applies, if the schools close, we will probably be closed for the safety of our clients, patients and staff. Thank you for your patience. Stay warm and stay safe.

We are watching the weather and getting ready for a Texas winter. We may have snow and ice, or we may not. So a couple of rules of thumb... If the Crowley or Burleson Schools closed down, Shaffer Veterinary Hospital will be closed too. If our parking lot looks like a skating rink, we will be closed. We will just have to play it by ear and we will keep everyone safe.
Also, if you need meds, please try to get them today. We are here until 6pm.

Just a reminder, Shaffer Veterinary Hospital will be closing today at 1pm for Christmas and will open back up for regular hours on Thursday. As we get to stop and take time with our families, we would like to wish all of our client and clinic family a safe and Merry Christmas.
