Your cycle is not an inconvenience.
It is a rhythm shaped by hormones, nervous system regulation, stress levels, nourishment, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Estrogen and progesterone rise and fall in a patterned sequence throughout the month. These shifts influence energy, mood, focus, sleep, digestion, and pain sensitivity.
If you notice certain days where you feel outward and social, and others where you feel tender, reflective, or easily overwhelmed — that is not random.
It is communication.
One of the most grounding ways to understand this rhythm is through the seasons within you.
Inner Winter (your menstrual phase).
Inner Spring (your follicular phase).
Inner Summer (ovulation).
Inner Autumn (your luteal phase).
These are not just poetic metaphors. They mirror real hormonal transitions happening inside the body.
A heavier flow can reflect stress or inflammation.
Increased cramps can signal tension or contraction.
Mood shifts in your inner autumn may reveal what feels unsupported in your life.
Low energy in your winter may simply mean your body is asking for restoration… and the womb continues to speak.
This is science.
And it is also sacred.
When you begin to recognize which season you are in, you stop judging yourself for changing — and start honoring your design.
We’ll continue to explore these inner seasons together.
For now, just notice: What season are you in today?
This is listening to the language of your body.
