We’re excited to introduce the 2026 Fort Worth Eye Associates (FWEA) Intern Leadership Board—a group that represents the very best of our past interns and the future of leadership in medicine.

Ellie Sinnott (GWU), Thomas Boothby (UVA/McIntire), and Amelia Hayde (LSU)

The Intern Leadership Board is composed of individuals who distinguished themselves through work ethic, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to patient care during their time in our program. This group plays a critical role in shaping the future of the FWEA Summer Internship—reviewing applications, conducting interviews, mentoring prospective interns, and upholding the high standards that define our program.

This is not a role offered to all interns. It is an honor earned by those who consistently go above and beyond—and this year’s board is no exception.

We are grateful for their leadership and excited to see the continued impact they will have on the next generation of students exploring careers in medicine.

Project Access Tarrant County is highlighting our own Dr. Ann Ranelle today in honor of Women's History Month. Thank you, Project Access Tarrant County, for a the good work you do for Tarrant County citizens.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we want to honor a woman vital to Project Access Tarrant County’s history.

Ann Ranelle, DO, of Fort Worth Eye Associates, is our longest-serving female physician volunteer. In PATC's first year, she treated 8 PATC patients. Almost 15 years later, she has treated a total of 82 patients ranging from ages 5 to 82 for cataracts, pterygia, strabismus, and many other conditions.

In addition to avid volunteerism, Dr. Ranelle is an advocate for her patients – PATC and others – in the Fort Worth community.

Thank you, Dr. Ranelle for 15 years of restoring and preserving sight to Project Access Tarrant County patients.

Welcome our newest physician Arko Ghosh, MD, a native of Fort Worth. Dr. Ghosh joins Fort Worth Eye Associates as a comprehensive ophthalmologist. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M University College of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Ghosh completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Ghosh enjoys taking care of patients with a variety of surgical and medical ophthalmic needs, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and much more. He specializes in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and in-office laser procedures. He prioritizes staying up to date with the latest technologies and treatments that are available to provide the best possible care to Fort Worth Eye Associates patients.

And for our patients who are Cowboys and Mavericks fans, Dr. Ghosh will agonize over them with you.
