Becky Mocklin is one of the sweetest most considerate people for all who know her. She has spent her life being as selfless as one can be, always worried about others and always saying "I'm fine" when it's been known that at times she way dying inside with worry from her Diabetes. Becky has been a diabetic for 34 years and recently the ability to be able to tell if her blood sugar is high or low h
as become a real challenge as her body has "given up" on this once very helpful ability as a diabetic. Because of this, she has passed out in public numerous times from low blood sugar and has even had a few close calls while driving in the car with her daughter Olivia. Going to sleep at night is a time where we can wind down and close our eyes knowing that the day is done and we will wake up refreshed and ready for a new day. However, with Becky's disability, she closes her eyes with fear that the next morning, her husband and daughter may find her in a Diabetic Coma because her blood sugar dropped in the middle of the night and her body didn't alert her as it should have. It is very important to Becky's family and herself that she is able to live a normal life without fear and most especially that her husband and daughter can have piece of mind knowing she is taken care of without wondering what may happen if she is left alone. We are raising funds for Becky to receive a much needed Diabetic Alert Dog. These dogs are trained by scent to detect high and low blood sugars. She would be able to take this dog with her everywhere and he/she would be able to alert her if her blood sugar is about to drop or spike too much...even in the middle of the night. These dogs are true angels and would be a blessing for Becky. It would mean so much to us if you could kindly consider donating your time or money to support this wonderful cause. Even by sharing this page, you are helping us to get one step closer in obtaining Becky's dog in August of 2014. You can send donations in Becky Mocklin's name to:
