Hello y’all, Rose Bud here! 🌱 After taking time away to really soak up becoming a new mother ~ the time has aligned for Ecstatic Dance Fort Worth to march forward! My desire is to expand slowly, intentionally, and with deep ~ reverent care. ❤️

This first gathering is about feeling into that! Reconnecting with the practice, the NEW space, and the people who will help shape what this becomes!

This offering has always been about more than just dancing. It is about creating a space where people can soften, release, and reconnect with themselves in an authentic way. If you feel called to be part of this beginning, I would LOVE to have you there!!!

Eeeeeep! We did it! 🌀💕 Last night Ecstatic Dance Fort Worth hosted an intimate ~ Soft Opening ~ donation fundraiser at our new location, United Performing Arts Company in Pantego!

23 bodies, big & small, moved together ~ letting curiosity play, some chaos, and a whole lot of LOVE. The pot was stirred and torch LIT. 🔥 EDFW is ready to go! 🔥

I am so grateful for this experience to test run our location for the first time! Every dance facilitation teaches me an intimate lesson… Lessons I get to use to make the experience better every time you attend! I am a forever student of the dance, along side you! I do appreciate your understanding and kindness as we learn new things together + find our groove in this HONESTLY epic space!!! 🪩

If you attended last night a HUGE THANK YOU! For trusting yourself, trusting Ecstatic Dance Fort Worth & myself, trusting the container would hold ALL THAT YOU ARE! You guys truly rocked it on the dance floor last night!

Our Space Etiquette : Our Agreements ❤️

~We dance barefoot or with supportive dancing shoes if needed.

~We turn our phones off and honor a phone-free experience - we do not take any photos or videos on the dance floor.

~We honor a non-verbal experience once you enter dance space.

~We honor a sober container to allow presence and lucidity in our practice.

~We honor emotions, by allowing space for emotions to move through. Leadership is there to offer compassionate support if needed.

~We practice consent in all interactions on + off the dance floor. We will not approach people from behind or without clear eye-contact.

~Clear eye-contact helps confirm a “yes” by both parties interested in connecting. Prayer hands at chest is the universal symbol of “no thank you, I am content in my own dance" -OR- to end a connection once it's begun.

~We agree to practice being non-judgmental + accepting others and ourselves as we are.

~We arrive on time for opening circle to belong ourselves. Doors will be locked at 6:30pm. Tickets are transferable but NOT refundable.

After time spent slowing down, tending inward, and letting life reshape things… Ecstatic Dance Fort Worth is coming back reimagined, rooted even deeper in community, presence, and the power of movement! Our desire is to expand slowly, intentionally, and with deep ~ reverent care.

This isn’t just a restart ~ it’s a rebirth ~ through and through. For me as a new mother and for this dance that is taking another breath, after much rest!

Is Ecstatic Dance Fort Worth kid friendly? :

ABSOLUTELY! Kids 12 and under dance for free! We are a multigenerational space and welcome all abilities, all ages, all experience levels!

For the safety of our containers + children, kiddos must be within your eyesight at all times. Invite them into the experience with you! If they’re timid - or not ready to join their first time THAT’s OK - it takes us grown ups time to soften into the experience TOO! Let them witness + participate on their own time

We just ask that you do not allow them to roam or hangout in the hallways outside of the dance floor without you. ❤️

Meet your dance facilitator ✨

Hi! I’m Rose Bud — a mother, wife, movement enthusiast, and space holder devoted to embodied presence, nervous system attunement, and helping others feel at home in their bodies.

My Ecstatic Dance journey began in 2019. At that time in my life, I was deeply disconnected from my body, my desires, and my intrinsic joy. I struggled with self-consciousness and crippling social anxiety.

Through a dedicated dance practice, I slowly learned how to drop the stories, listen to my body, and trust myself. I wouldn’t be who I am today without Ecstatic Dance.

My mission is simple: I create spaces where movement becomes medicine.

A committed dance practice became a doorway to deeper presence, self-expression, and authentic connection — a path that continues to shape the way I move, live, and hold space today.

Now I share this practice as an invitation to be curious about yourself, explore, and come home to your body. My intention is to support you in remembering the inner divinity within.

Ecstatic dance is a free-form movement practice.

There’s no choreography, no steps to follow, and no right or wrong way to move.

You listen to your body and let the music guide you.
