✨What does it mean to be Raising Future Ancestors?✨
It means that the ways we engage with our children is rooted in an awareness that the connections we hold will impact the way our children will engage with Madre Tierra and the elements that nourish and nurture them, their communities and the systems that must be dismantled in order for their people to thrive, and with their own descendants.
It means we see them as powerful, knowing, and fully sovereign beings.
It means we allow them to unfold into their own magic instead of trying to bend them to our wills and unconsciousness.
It means we give reverence and honor to their essence and guide them with care, intention, and l o v e.
It means we see ourselves as Future Ancestors, always planting seeds, always growing bosques.
It means we are all interconnected beyond the physical and beyond the illusion of time and because of that, the future ancestors you are raising are the future ancestors I am also raising in my thoughts, words, and actions as I move through my lifetime and they move through theirs.
The future ancestors I am raising will remember their sacredness.
