🚨 Medical Tattoo - Do Not Flag 🚨

This patient chose to get ni**le tattoos 18 months after her bilateral mastectomy and to also have her radiation dot camouflaged. The redness in the after photo is from a fresh touch-up on her second visit.

She later shared with me, "Now, when I look in the mirror, I see 'normal' and I truly feel like a part of me has been restored." This is what I hope for everyone who sits in my chair—that they feel whole and normal again.

🚨 Medical Tattoo - Do Not Flag 🚨

This post highlights the unique decisions involved in ni**le reconstruction after breast cancer. Some women opt for a surgical procedure that uses surrounding breast tissue to create a permanent ni**le protrusion. It's like sculpting a small bump of scar tissue, providing a sense of normalcy that’s always present.

The featured tattoo shows a client who chose the permanent ni**le protrusion, beautifully enhanced with an ar**la tattoo. The after photo is fresh, which is why it appears red, but it will lighten up nicely in a few weeks.

Others prefer no protrusion, allowing them the freedom to decide whether to wear a bra or not. There are even ni**le covers and bras with built-in bumps for those who want to have the choice.

Remember, each journey is personal and unique, and I’m here to support your decisions every step of the way. 💖
