Sarah Ross Birth Services

Sarah Ross Birth Services I am a pregnancy & labor doula in the Fort Worth area. I doula ALL births. Having had 2 csections & a VBA2C, my passion is to educate & empower moms.

I started my doula business because of my own birth experiences, I want to support you while you have your birth. Through your pregnancy, labor and your birth, I will provide non-judgemental information to your questions, offer supportive and beneficial guidance on where to find information and questions to ask your doctor. I will be honest with you and I will stand by you to support you during your delivery, so that you have YOUR best birth. My motto here at Sarah Ross Birth Services is "carrying YOU while you carry." The most important thing to you right now, mama, is you and the health of your baby!

Twenty years is a long time. It’s a long time for many…. And yet it feels so short too. I remember.

It is my prayer today that together, we’ll remember!

You are more than your circumstances, you are more than your emotions, you are human, you are man, you are woman, you are people, you are everything you need to be right at this very moment! Show kindness to others, in the knowledge that you are you and what they do does not define you.
Be kind! Be gracious!

As I was pulling into work, I was following this car. The sign in the back window says, ā€œLearning stick sorry for any delay.ā€

Knowing this information, I was very patient with their slow shifting, and honestly they were doing pretty well for still learning. Then I asked myself a tough question: Would I have been just as patient if the sign hadn’t been there? I can almost definitely say no.

We don’t know what someone is going through. We don’t wear signs that illustrate our personal struggles. You don’t see signs taped to people’s shirts that say, ā€œGoing through a divorceā€, or ā€œLost a childā€, or ā€œFeeling depressedā€, or ā€œDiagnosed with cancerā€.

If we could read visually what those around us are going through we would definitely be nicer. But we shouldn’t have to see signs and have reasons to treat strangers with kindness. We should do it anyway, whether we know what is going on or not. Whether they deserve it or not.

Let’s give everyone an extra dose of patience, kindness, and love!

I’m sitting on my in-law’s couch remembering that we are all seeing different things this morning, this day after Christmas. It is my hope that the joy and spirit of Christmas continues and we find the moments we may have been missing in the stress of this year. The moments where our kids learned something new, laughed hard, showed flexibility and determination, where we learned to slow down and take a breath. So, I challenge you today—just breathe šŸ§˜ā€ā™‚ļø.
