The Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute serves the DFW metroplex with the highest level of orthopedic care available.

The Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Institute (OSMI) specializes in orthopedic surgery, arthroscopic joint surgery, sports medicine, physical therapy and occupational therapy. OSMI was founded with one goal: To provide the highest quality of care possible while giving each patient individual, personalized attention. Working closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, OSMI believes in exhausting all non-operative options before recommending a surgical intervention. At OSMI, we value open, communicative Doctor-Patient relationships that are based on a mutual respect for all of our patients. Our staff recognizes that going through treatment and rehabilitation for an injury can be a very stressful time in life, and we strive to make the process as convenient as possible. This includes making sure you know exactly what your treatment is and why it is the best for your condition. Patients’ Choice Award winner and a “Top Doc” in Fort Worth as voted by his peers, OSMI founder Dr. Michael Boothby and his staff use the most advanced diagnosis and treatment options available to determine the best course of action for every patient. Patients are treated in a convenient and comfortable setting that includes a knowledgeable and caring support staff. At OSMI we treat all types of orthopedic complaints, though our sub-specialty is in complex arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. We particularly focus on sports medicine for the Dallas-Fort Worth and Arlington areas.

We’re excited to officially welcome Jessica Rothman, MPAS, PA-C, to the Fort Worth team at OSMI!

Jessica brings a strong background in orthopedics, shaped by her experience as a Division 1 gymnast at Illinois State University, where she earned her degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies right here in Fort Worth at UNTHSC and is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they love.

When she’s not in clinic, Jessica enjoys volunteering at animal shelters, traveling with her fiancé, and spending time with their two cats.

We’re grateful to have her on board and can’t wait for our patients to meet her!
