She baked fresh cookies from scratch because a resident didn’t like the dessert that day. 🤍

The week before, she drove to the store on her own time — with her own money — to bring back a specific soda a resident had asked for. No announcement.

No recognition sought. Just a cold drink for someone who needed one.

Ashley Solis is a cook at our Red Oak, TX, community. And what she does every day is a reminder that the best senior living team members don’t just fill a role. They feel it.

“It takes a certain heart to work in this industry,” said Executive Director Janet Foran.
“A grace and a patience that can’t be trained — it has to be felt. Ashley feels it. Our residents feel it, too.”

During Arthritis Awareness Month and National Osteoporosis Month, our teams become more aware of joint health, bone density, and movement practices that prevent problems before they start.
