VENDOR HIGHLIGHT: meet Dr. Jason Dixon D.C.!
I first met Dr. Jason Dixon many years ago at one of his events, and since then, he has become a cherished and constant presence at The Holistic Fair. Dr. Jason is so much more than a doctor and practitioner; he is a true community connector who cares deeply for his patients and colleagues alike. In all my time working alongside him with the Fair and being a patient of his myself, I’ve found him to be one of the most thoughtful and genuinely encouraging people I know. It is a joy to share his journey with you—let’s settle in and listen to his story. -Jason Carlson, Holistic Fair Director
Dr. Jason says, "My journey in the healing arts started when I was fourteen years old. I began to sense energy and discovered I could direct it with my focus and intention. One day, I focused my intention and transferred energy to a sick friend from across the room. Within minutes, his fever broke. That moment set the course of my life.
From there, I studied everything I could find about energy healing, crystals, meditation, and consciousness. My path led me to chiropractic and to a gentle, energetic form of spinal care that helps the nervous system release stored tension and find greater coherence.
In over 26 years of working with energy and over 10 years as a chiropractor, I’ve had the joy of witnessing countless miracles and seeing hundreds of people shift from survival to thriving. The most profound healing I’ve witnessed comes from opening to ourselves and opening to the Creator’s love.
My healing journey and those I have been honored to facilitate inspired me to write a collection of original poetry and consciousness teachings I call Our Minds Change: Rhythms of Healing, Reflections of Soul. The music I produced from that poetry has become the soundtrack for the Holistic Fair, and I'm excited to offer our community a free, deeper-dive journey through these teachings. I invite everyone to join me for the journey of Awakening to Love.
I married my high school sweetheart, Jenna. We live in Benbrook with our two amazing dogs. We enjoy gardening, reading, learning, taking vacations at the beach, and living a natural, holistic lifestyle. I love playing guitar, writing, and playing chess.
Together, Jenna and I lead a local chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation and provide resources, teaching our community how to nourish themselves naturally and how to heal themselves."
