🎩💙 Bristol Park Hatters Meet 💙🎩

Our monthly Bristol Park Hatters gathering was once again a wonderful opportunity to connect, share, and enjoy plenty of laughter together! 😊✨

We kicked things off with the comedic stylings of Nate Bargatze, setting the tone with humor and getting everyone in a jovial spirit. If you haven’t experienced his comedy yet—we highly recommend it! 😂👏

Following our laughter-filled warm-up, residents shared thoughtful responses to a few meaningful questions. From discussing life’s most daring moments to reminiscing about the most beautiful places they’ve visited, each story brought us closer together. 🌍💛

By the end of our time, we left knowing a little more about one another—and feeling even more connected. That’s what the Bristol Park Hatters are all about: sharing laughter, building friendships, and strengthening the bonds that make our community so special. 💙

Here Comes Peter Cottontail! 🐰🌸✨

We didn’t know our friends at Fort Worth Hospice had a direct line to the Easter Bunny—but now we have proof! 😊💛

Our residents were delighted by a visit from Mr. Cottontail, a sweet pink Peeps bunny, and an adorable baby chick. These cheerful characters spread smiles everywhere they went, handing out candy-filled eggs and brightening every moment. 🐥🍬

Fort Worth Hospice continues to be such a blessing, showing up with joy and heart for every holiday and occasion. Thank you for making our day so special and sharing your unique style of happiness with us! 💛✨

Easter Egg Hunt at Bristol Park! 🐰🥚✨

The Easter Bunny did an egg-cellent job hiding eggs—but our eager hunters found every last one! 😄💛

With nearly 600 candy-filled eggs hidden across two courtyards, the excitement was everywhere! It was hard to tell who had more fun—the children collecting treats or our residents joyfully watching it all unfold. 🐣🎉

Before and after the big hunt, families enjoyed games, coloring, and fun photo opportunities. 📸🎨 A special thank you to our Culinary Director, Brittney Hunt, for the delicious mini muffins, lemon cookies, and refreshing blueberry lemonade that kept everyone energized! 🍋🧁🥤

This was truly an Easter celebration to remember. Thank you to all the families who joined us—and we wish everyone a very Happy Easter! 🌷💫

Popular Pup Visits Again! 🐾💙

Our superhero therapy dog, Bailey, stopped by for another heartwarming visit—and she did NOT disappoint! 🦸‍♀️🐶 With her calm presence and gentle spirit, she has a special way of bringing smiles and soothing hearts. 😊✨

Residents absolutely adore her soft coat and sweet nature, and Bailey happily soaks up every bit of love and attention in return. 💕🐾

Stay tuned for the next adventure of Super Bailey as she continues to fight the blues—and win every time! The best part? Her sweetness is always 100% sugar-free. 💙😄

We had a GRAND time painting eggs! 🐣🎨✨

Shayna Malsam, Business Director, welcomed our residents into the Bristol Design Den for some festive Easter fun—and egg painting was the perfect activity! 💛🐰

Residents had a blast decorating real eggs using classic, old-school kits. From crayon-etched designs and colorful dye mixtures to fun stickers and vibrant finishes, each egg turned into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece! 🌈🥚

Every artist proudly showed off their edible creation—some with big smiles and maybe just a little hunger too! 😄🍽️

A big THANK YOU to Shayna for bringing such joy and creativity to Easter week with this all-time favorite activity. 🎉💐

Seven Mile Cafe with the Lunch Bunch! 🍳🥞

The Bristol Park Lunch Bunch Gang recently took on the delicious menu at 7 Mile Café
—and let’s just say, it did not disappoint!

From breakfast favorites to comforting lunch classics (and everything in between), every
bite was packed with flavor. Whether you’re craving something sweet, savory, or a little
of both, this spot truly has something for everyone.

But it wasn’t just the food that won us over—the warm, welcoming atmosphere made it
feel like one big family gathering. ❤️

We’re always on the lookout for uniquely good food, and this one definitely stands out.
Safe to say… we’ll be back for more!

Truly Eggcellent! 🐣✨

This Art Enrichment project has us eagerly counting down to Easter! These beautifully
crafted and lovingly painted egg ornaments are absolutely bursting with life and color.

Each of our resident artists chose their own unique color combinations, turning simple
Easter ovals into one-of-a-kind creations. Their pride shines through in every piece, each
one ready to be proudly displayed throughout the spring season.

A big thank you to Lifestyle Assistant Denise Dunham for discovering and leading this
egg-citing project!

Easter is just around the corner, and while we’re looking forward to even more springtime
beauty, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the vibrant charm of these creations.

When in doubt, Quack it out! 🦆✨

Bristol Park residents enjoyed a one-of-a-kind Happy Hour filled with laughter, storytelling,
and delicious bites! Special guest Nick Waters, Storyteller, brought history to life with the
tale of Clarence “Ducky” Nash—the original voice of Donald Duck.

In true theatrical fashion, Waters took on the role of an 1830s milkman (one of Nash’s early
jobs after arriving in Hollywood), captivating everyone with his energy and charm.

Our own Culinary Director, Brittany Hunt, didn’t miss a beat, delighting residents with Donald
Duck-inspired treats, including blueberry waffles, salmon-kissed deviled eggs, and of course…
cheese and “quackers”! 🧀

Adding to the fun, Katie Hildago with Freedom Palliative and Hospice Care served up a classic
favorite from the 1930s—the Mai Tai—available with or without a splash of white rum.

It was an afternoon full of smiles, laughter, and happy hearts. As Donald Duck himself said,
“Happiness is the richest thing we’ll ever own.” 💛

Shamrocks & Rainbows 🌈🍀✨

As we wrap up March, we’re excited to share two BEAUTIFUL Art Enrichment projects celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! 💚

Our first creation features shamrock cutouts brought to life with vibrant rainbow crepe paper 🌈. Each one is uniquely designed, with colorful streams cascading down like a joyful rainbow tail—just as special as the resident who made it! 😊

Our second project is a festive wreath 🍀 adorned with shamrocks and topped with a bright rainbow arch. These creations truly POP with color and bring so much cheer to our space! ✨

The pride and joy of our resident artists shine through in every detail. 💫 A special THANK YOU to Lifestyle Assistant Denise Dunham for leading these wonderful projects—we can’t wait to see what April’s Art Enrichment brings! 🎨🌷

This Chef Demo was “SHRIMPLY” the BEST! 🍤✨

What a treat! Brittney Hunt, our Culinary Director, hosted an incredible March Chef Demo that had everyone talking—and tasting! 😋💙 She walked us through the art of ceviche, where fresh shrimp is “cooked” in bright citrus juices 🍋 and combined with onions, cilantro, and just the right kick of flavor.

Originating from South America, ceviche is a refreshing favorite across Latin America—and Brittney served it perfectly with crisp tortilla chips! 🌮✨

For those craving something classic, she also prepared a delicious shrimp salad 🥗 featuring tender shrimp, onion, celery, mayo, garlic, and a hint of lemon—creamy, flavorful, and just as much of a hit!

Both dishes were a HUGE success, leaving everyone wanting seconds (even with dinner right around the corner! 😉).

Thank you, Brittney, for another amazing Chef Demo—your creativity and culinary talent never go unnoticed! 👏💫
