The ultimate meaning of yoga is defined as the Indian system of self realization, a psycho spiritual technology. Chameleon Yoga is a Hatha based practice that uses persistence or force and implies the effort directed toward transforming the body into a sacred vessel. "Ha" refers to the sun and "tha" the moon. It is very clear there is a connection between breath, body and mind. If the body is comfortable, your mind is at ease. If there is mental stability, then your body will be comfortable. When the mind is fearful the breath quickens. There is harmony. Using breath in Asana practice is important because our aim is not only strengthening and making the body flexible, but to do it in such a way with the breath that moves prana (energy) through out the whole body. The aim of yoga is to do something in the mind, not the body. I am currently a 200 hour certified guider of yoga and excited to start my journey spreading light and love into peoples hearts. "Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame."-B.K.S. lyengar
