As most of my regulars now, I’m a pretty big Star Wars fan. Yes, even the most recent movies.

I usually do a new shirt release when there’s a new movie, and with The Mandalorian and Grogu releasing next month, I thought it was time for a contest to see who can make the best Floatalorian and Grogu design.

If you have time and interest in whipping something together, I’d love to see it! If your design gets picked, you’ll get a 3 pack of floats, and of course a free shirt with your design on it.

I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

This one has been in the works for a while, but we’re pleased to announce that we now have emotional support ducks to rent during your float!

You can rent up to 5 ducks at a time, and they are first come first serve. If you’re not quite ready to be alone in the float tank, having a duck (or 5) in there with you will be a great transition toward the full sensory deprivation experience. Enjoy the white noise of quacks and honks while you enjoy a perfectly dark and weightless environment.

*please don’t bring your own ducks. These are specially trained therapy ducks, and are experts at helping you relax

First of all, thank you to everyone who reached out with support after the previous message. I didn’t start Fort Worth Float Company to get rich - I did it to provide something for people that had helped me so much. When times get stressful, like they are now, hearing from so many people about what this place means to them and how much floating as helped them reminds me why I do this, and that theres still more I can do.

Having said that, I was able to put enough things together, and with enough support from people who don’t want to see this place go away, that I’m able to keep the doors open, at least for now.

So we’re open for at least another month, but still need your support to keep that going. I know things are tough for everyone right now, and it’s tough for everyone personally and all the small businesses, and we all need all the help we can get. That can buying a gift card, writing a review, or sending someone our way who you know needs this. Every little bit helps.

And of course if you need some stress relief and time for yourself, that’s exactly what Fort Worth Float Company is here for.
