About Texas Hip and Knee Center

Content in this section is for informational discussion only. Please visit with your physician to discuss your individual diagnosis and treatment.

Texas Hip and Knee Center specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hip and knee disorders. Our primary focus is on joint replacement and total joint replacement surgery for a wide variety of arthritic conditions. Whether you are a Baby Boomer or Weekend Warrior, we want to find a solution to your joint discomfort. Our goal is to help you rediscover the “go” in you.

Texas Hip and Knee Center has been a premier orthopedic practice in the Fort Worth area since its formation in 1989 by Dr. Robert Schmidt. The group expanded in 1992, when Dr. Ajai Cadambi joined the practice, and again in 2001, with the addition of Drs. Theodore Crofford and Steven Weeden. Dr. Jeffrey L. McGowen joined the practice in 2006, Dr. Steven B. Ogden joined in 2008, and Dr. Daniel Wagner joined in 2015.

Our physicians are highly skilled in adult reconstructive surgery, arthritis surgery of the hip and knee, and arthroscopic treatment of knee disorders and injuries. We pursue a variety of non-surgical treatments, including oral medications, injections, and physical therapy, with the goal of avoiding surgery altogether or to supplement surgical outcomes whenever possible. If surgery is the best option, we have decades of combined experience in breakthrough surgical techniques.
