I’ve been having more of this conversation in the past few weeks with the uptick in weight loss goals for the New Year.
📌 95% of weight loss is achieved through diet
📌 Exercise is great for toning and improving your appearance, increasing muscle mass and strength and cardiovascular health but contributes very little to weight loss
📌 most people only burn between 100-300 calories per hour exercising and often eat the calories burned because exercise increases hunger.
📌 The takeaway here is if weight loss is your goal your diet should be your primary focus
