COVID-19 UPDATE

We appreciate all of our clients and would like you to know that we are staying up to date with the COVID19 situation both nationally and in our community. It is important to us to update you with any changes to our services as soon as possible.

Starting June 11, 2021, Governor Beshear will be lifting the mask mandate for the state of Kentucky. You will no longer be required to wear a mask at your appointment after that time. Please feel free to do what makes you comfortable, as some members of the HVC team may continue to wear their masks.

We continue to ask that anyone who is exhibiting symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or breathing difficulties to please call or email the office and cancel your appointment. We would be happy to reschedule for a later date.

We will continue to perform all treatments as we have previously offered with a few modifications:

- We request that you call the front desk at (859) 331-2541 when you are in our parking lot, a staff member will greet you outside.
- If you need to pick up refills on herbs, supplements, or food, please call the front desk.
We can refill, process the transaction, and bring your items to your car.
- We will continue to offer curbside service for appointments if this is your preference.

As everyone knows, things are very fluid. We would like to stress that this is an unprecedented situation that could change at any given time. If someone from the staff should become ill, we will be working short-handed and might need to alter the schedule. It is our priority to offer the best care within our current ability.

We would like to thank all of our clients, human and furry alike, for their cooperation, patience, and amazing attitudes during this unprecedented time. We genuinely appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigated the pandemic as a small business.

Here's to a healthy rest of the year and getting to see everyone's smiling faces!

Thank you for your understanding,
Dr. Denise Bevins and Staff at Holistic Veterinary Care

Based on guidance from the American Veterinary Medical Association, we will be transitioning to mandatory modified drop-off appointments and curb side service only.

- We can still perform all the treatments we have previously offered. We request that you call the front desk when you are in our parking lot.
- A staff member will come out to your car and get your pet and communicate with you about any changes you are observing in your pet’s health. If needed, Dr. Bevins can also communicate with you on the phone prior to the treatment.
- We will complete our examination and/or treatment as planned, then return your pet to the car. At this time, we can discuss recommendations for the next appointment.
- If you need to pick up refills on herbs, supplements, or food, please call the front desk. We can refill, process the transaction, and bring your items to your car.
- We understand that this situation may not be ideal for some pets and would be happy to reschedule any appointment for a later time. We will continue to keep you informed on any further changes in procedure.

As everyone knows, things are very fluid. We would like to stress that this is an unprecedented situation that could change at any given time. In the event that we would need to close our doors, you will be able to reach Dr. Bevins via email with questions or concerns. We appreciate all of our clients and would like you to know that we are staying up to date with the COVID19 situation both nationally and in our community. It is important to us to update you with any changes to our services as soon as possible.

At the moment, it would be in the best interest of the health of our clients and staff for anybody who is exhibiting symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or breathing difficulties to please call or email the office and cancel your appointment. We would be happy to reschedule for a later date.

As directed by the CDC hygiene plan, we will try to minimize human-to-human contact that is less than 6 feet. We are working hard to keep frequently touched surfaces wiped down and clean, as well as keeping traffic light in the waiting room. As everyone knows, things are very fluid. We would like to stress that this is an unprecedented situation that could change at any given time. If someone from the staff should become ill, we will be working short handed and might need to alter the schedule. It is our priority to offer the best care within our current ability.

In the event that we would need to close our doors, you will be able to reach Dr. Bevins via email with questions or concerns. If you are an existing client and your dog or cat has been seen recently, please send an email to email@holisticveterinarycare.com and you will receive a response within 24 hours.
