I was so sad to learn of the closing of Chattahoochee Valley Learning Resource Center
They are doing a “yard sale” as well as online auction (some of the prices I could see are incredible). Check out their page for more details.

We’re closing out the Chattahoochee Valley Learning Resource Center and inviting the community to take home some of the remaining items through a Facebook Auction.

👉 Here’s how it works:

1️⃣ Items will be posted individually at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/chattahoochee-valley-learning-resource-centers-auction

2️⃣ Bid on items that you want.

3️⃣ The highest bid by Monday, August 25 at 7:00 PM wins the item.

4️⃣ You MUST pick up at the CVLRC at one of the following times:

Tuesday, August 26 between 11 AM - 3 PM
Thursday, August 28 between 11 AM - 3 PM
Saturday, August 30 between 1 PM – 4 PM

Please bring help if you’re picking up large items.

All sales are final.

This is a great chance to grab furniture, toys, and more while supporting the transition of the Center’s resources back into the community. Thank you for helping us close this chapter!

We’re calling on our community to help us reach military families across the country.

In January, two new TRICARE contracts went live—TriWest (West Region) and TRICARE East—are now in effect, and families have been sharing they are already experiencing the negative impacts. Exceptional Families of the Military is collecting feedback to ensure their voices are heard as part of our ongoing advocacy efforts.

📣 We’ve launched two brief surveys—one for each region—to better understand what’s working, what’s not, and where support is urgently needed.

I had the joy and pleasure of checking out Chattahoochee Valley Learning Resource Center this morning! Such a wonderful vision and place for kids of all ages to play and explore without set expectations! They have drop in availability, punch cards, a Summer Daze Pass, annual family passes, and also offer different groups/classes/camps! Here’s a few pictures to give you an idea of just a handful of their activities!🥰
