Hello Humboldt County “Bodyworkers”. I created this group hoping for communicative dinners, massage trades and demos, figure out how to take insurance and advertising tips. Most of all I wanted to create a group with a voice. California certification for massage at this time is voluntary, our County is one of the few counties with few to 0 regulation. Within the next few years there is a high probability of mandatory statewide regulation. As much as I appreciate certification there is no way I could have gotten where I am today by, not being allowed to practice. Humboldt county is a gem, not suppressing bodyworkers is one of the ways it sparkles. Could we start a Conversation about the future of Humboldt County in Bodywork? I’m not looking forward to getting hit by a mandatory train.

Creating this group just before the Covid purple tier was rather brave. I instantly got a cold as well. Was tested, negative for Covid. Everyone stay safe out there.
