A funeral Mass will be held for Johnny on Saturday, March 29 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fortuna, with burial at Rohnerville Cemetery following. A catered reception will be held starting at noon at The Monday Club in Fortuna.

A rosary will be held starting at 6:30 pm Friday, March 28 at Goble's Fortuna Mortuary in Fortuna with a viewing to follow.

Please share this information with anyone you think would want to know and be sure to come to any or all of these events that your schedule permits to share in the memories of this smart, funny, creative and talented man with others who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, he would ask that donations be shared with Food for People, the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Facility of Eureka, or Hospice of Humboldt.

We are sad to announce the passing of Steve Riddle of Fortuna, California. Calling hours will be held at Goble's Fortuna Mortuary on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. A Rosary and Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Church of Assumption in Ferndale, followed by burial at Sunrise Cemetery in Fortuna, and then a Celebration of Life at the Fortuna Fire Hall.
