Redwood Pediatric Medical Group was started in 1976 to provide care for the children of the Eel River Valley. We currently have one Pediatrician and one Nurse Practitioner . Staff

James Killfoil, MD

Dr. Killfoil completed medical school at the University of California, San Diego, and did his pediatric training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He joined the practice in 1996.

Our office will be closed Thurs, Fri and Sat. We will re-open on Monday Aug. 25th. For urgent appointments please go to urgent care or your nearest Emergency Room. Most insurances have a 24 hour nurse advice line that you can utilize. The number is usually on the back of your insurance card. Partnership Health Plan's nurse # is 1-866-778-8873. If you need a medication please call that into our nurse today. If you need information sent to WIC or to a school please leave a message on our after-hours voice mail and that will be sent on Monday. Thank you for your understanding!

Welcome to Redwood Pediatric Medical Group. We are a small pediatric practice located in Fortuna, California. At Redwood Pediatrics we strive to offer our patients convenient, high-quality care. History Redwood Pediatric Medical Group was started in 1976 to provide care for the children of the Eel River Valley. We currently have two Pediatricians. Staff James Killfoil, MD Dr. Killfoil completed medical school at the University of California, San Diego, and did his pediatric training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He joined the practice in 1996. Evan Buxbaum, MD Dr. Buxbuam completed medical school at Duke University and did his pediatric training at The University of Vermont. He joined the practice in 2011.
