Some days at Gravel Lawn are quiet. Some days are busy. All of them matter.

People come here for many reasons. To visit someone they miss, to walk, to think, or to show their kids where family history lives.

You do not need a reason that makes sense to anyone else. If this place gives you a moment to slow down, then it is doing its job.

If you were here recently, we hope you felt welcome. If it has been a while, the gates are always open.

Gravel Lawn belongs to this community, and we are proud to take care of it.

Every marker represents a life that helped shape our community. A parent. A veteran. A neighbor. Someone who mattered and still does. We work every day to make sure this space is cared for with the respect it deserves so families can visit, reflect, and remember in peace.

We are truly grateful to everyone who took part in today’s Wreaths Across America ceremony at Gravel Lawn Cemetery. It was an honor to see our community come together to remember our fallen heroes and reflect on the meaning of service and freedom. Thank you to all who helped make this day so meaningful.

Please note the updated date for Wreaths Across America at Gravel Lawn Cemetery. With the weather moving in, the ceremony and wreath placement are now planned for December 20 at noon. We hope to see our friends, families, and volunteers join us as we come together to honor and remember our Veterans.

Due to the upcoming negative temperatures and wild weather forecast, we are POSTPONING this event to December 20, 2025 Gravel Lawn Cemetery

Thank you to the Ft Ben Composite Squadron - Wreaths Across America for all the work you put into this each year. We’re grateful to partner with you to honor every Veteran here at Gravel Lawn.
