❤ Just wanted to share this article on the Energy Balance Equation; a model for calculating a person’s energy balance and how much weight they’ll lose or gain over time. This model is tricky to use because it doesn't take in account body composition; which is influenced by things like s*x hormone levels, macronutrient intake (especially protein), exercise style / frequency / intensity, age, medication use, genetic predisposition, etc. I know...it's a lot right? 😁. In short, losing weight and changing body composition takes time, effort and is a process that can be frustrating. BUT....if this is your goal...it's achievable and you can got this!!! I joined Pure Barre in 2020 after moving from Mishawaka IN to Fishers. I was 155 lbs, didn’t know anyone, stressed and we all were dealing with COVID. Pure Barre became my home, not only for fitness but for the amazing friendships over the last few years. I LOVE my PB family and the amazing results I achieved thus far. I’m currently 145, 44 years old and the healthiest I’ve ever been ❤️.
