Wild garlic is now ready for gathering. The abundance of plants at a specific site encouraged me to pick some this morning. Be aware that wild garlic resembles lily of the valley, a plant that is toxic and not safe for consumption. To harvest responsibly, remove no more than 1/3 to 25% of the plant's material.
