Don't make change too complicated... just begin.
Sometimes we have to trick ourselves into starting a new endeavor. I know I do. Whether it is a new healthy eating plan, trying a new recipe, starting a new workout, changing a behavior or clearing out the clutter, start with one super easy action and make sure it's Not Perfect. Just begin. Try to drop the big expectations and take the smallest step so your fight or flight mechanism doesn't kick in.
Once you actually begin, it takes some pressure off and you can make progress. Slow progress builds confidence and momentum. Then you are on your way. It's Wednesday and I am beginning again๐
