Here at Fountain Hills Recovery, we have a multi-disciplinary approach to treating addiction.

We feature a variety of holistic therapies and alternative methods to help you or your loved one take back control and reach total wellness.

While our alternative methods have shown to be very useful, traditional addiction counseling and various types of psychotherapy are still the backbones of our programs.

Dr. Robbie Westerman, DNP-PMHNP, turned his personal struggles with substance abuse and mental health into a passion for helping others.

With over nine years in psychiatry, he blends his expertise in neurology and psychopharmacology with a deep understanding of addiction, and is well-versed in various treatments for both substance use disorders using ASAM guidelines and general psychiatric conditions.

Beyond the clinic, he’s a dedicated father of three and a speaker at treatment centers around the valley.

Whether you’re a first responder, high-profile professional, or working mom, alcoholism doesn’t discriminate. It affects you in unique ways.

That means a one-size-fits-all approach to alcohol rehab isn’t going to cut it.

We emphasize a highly individualized approach to alcohol addiction treatment, tailoring your recovery plan to your specific challenges and needs.

Our outpatient level of care provides our clients the opportunity to take on more responsibility and transition back into more of a “normal” living experience.

We allow them to continue with their work-, school-, and family-related responsibilities during their recovery.

Clients still receive treatment multiple days a week, but treatment will be balanced with increased family interaction and easing back into work or school.

Beer, vodka, whiskey, wine and other types of alcohol get processed in your liver, which breaks down alcohol into a harmful chemical called acetaldehyde.

Normally, your liver can handle this process.

But if you drink too much, acetaldehyde builds up and damages your liver cells.

This damage causes inflammation and scars on your liver, also called fibrosis.
