Who doesn’t love a good craft and chat? 🎨🧡 We decided to make a day of it! A few of our Assisted Living residents joined me in Memory Care to help our friends create festive fall crafts to hang on their doors. Later, we spent the afternoon making some fun Halloween-inspired creations! The best part of craft days is always the conversation—taking time to connect, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company. 🍂👻

Today we were honored to have one of our own lead our chapel service. Coach shared an inspiring message from the book of Jeremiah, and it was truly a blessing to hear his words. In the afternoon, we enjoyed live music from Mark — always a wonderful time filled with joy and smiles!

We had a great time celebrating International Coffee Day with a fun twist—Sip Sip Guess! ☕🎉 (That’s coffee and trivia!) Residents enjoyed learning interesting coffee facts along with plenty of other random trivia. And of course, Wednesdays mean BINGO—always a favorite, no matter the size of the crowd

Even without the sunshine, we loved spending time outdoors in the fresh breeze—chatting, laughing, and playing trivia! The crisp weather and festive fall décor set the perfect mood for the day.

What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Saturday, we were honored to welcome FBRC for a meaningful visit filled with shared stories and great conversation. The day was made even more special as we celebrated our Veteran, Bill G., on his birthday. We are grateful for the time spent together and for the opportunity to enjoy such a memorable afternoon—complete with an impressive display of motorcycles. We truly value our community partners who help us create moments like these for our residents.

We’re welcoming in all things fall! 🍂 Today’s “Craft & Chat” was full of creativity and fun. Residents made festive “Hello Fall” signs and worked on fall-inspired coloring pages—with a little twist! Each page was cut in half, and everyone got to color their piece however they liked. Once finished, we paired the halves back together to reveal the final masterpiece. Such a unique activity and a joy to see all the creative designs come to life! 🎨🍁

We wrapped up Assisted Living Week with a fun “Peace Out Summer” Bash! 🌞🌸 A big thank you to Andrew at Family Hospice for starting our morning off right with fresh bagels and cream cheese. Our incredible dietary team kept the summer vibes going with a classic cookout of burgers and hot dogs—what better way to end the season? 🍔🌭

Interim HealthCare of Greenville SC added an extra touch of sweetness by surprising our staff with the cutest treats, making the day even more special. 💛

As we close out this week of celebration, we’re filled with gratitude—for our amazing staff, our community partners, and everyone who helps us create joy for our residents each day. What a wonderful week of honoring both our staff and residents together! 🎉
