Stem cells - what are they and why are they important to you and your longevity.
Stem cells have almost become a buzz word in today’s health vocabulary. But do you really know what they are? Let’s dive into this.
Stem cells are the building blocks of your body and everything in it. They literally created your body.
As a child and into your teens, you have billions of stem cells waiting to help heal and rebuild as you grow. As we age our stem cells get used up. The more injuries, the more inflammation, the more conic stress you have the more deteriorate your body, and the more stem cells get used. On average, this is the decline in stem cell activity a person can expect:
A teenager has approximately 1,000,000,000 circulating/activated adult stem cells.
By age 30 this number has dropped to 400 million (a 60% reduction)
By age 50 this number has dropped to 250 million (a 75% reduction)
By age 60 this number has dropped to 100 million (a 90% reduction)
By age 80 this number has dropped to 50 million (a 95% reduction)
Depending on how you’ve lived your life, whether you’ve embraced health and wellness or you’ve been a little bit harder on yourself and perhaps you’re dealing with chronic conditions, these numbers can go up or down.
In today’s world, we are bombarded with things in our environment, and our food that have created chronic conditions in many people. The more of these you have, the less stem cell activity you have left. In order for life, it’s imperative to maintain stem cell activity.
Let’s dive into the two types of stem cells that are available to us:
Pluripotent versus Multipotent
Embryonic stem cells are pluripotent, meaning they can differentiate into any cell type, while adult stem cells are multipotent, or more limited, and can only differentiate into a limited range of cell types. Multipotent, meaning they can only differentiate into the cell types found in the tissue where they originate.
Adult stem cells are multipotent, also known as somatic stem cells, and are found in small numbers throughout the body. These cells are tissue-specific, meaning they can only create more of the specialized cell types within the tissue or organ they are in, and their primary role is to repair and maintain that tissue by replacing old or damaged cells.
They can remain dormant for long periods until they are activated by injury or disease. When activated, they can divide into new cells to replenish the damaged or worn-out systems and organs of the body.
How can you naturally support stem cell activation?
By incorporating a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise, a nutrient-rich diet with antioxidant- and polyphenol-rich foods, and quality sleep.
Other methods include intermittent fasting, managing stress, and avoiding toxins like excess sugar, alcohol, and smoking. Exercise that includes cardio and strength training. Regular physical activity helps mobilize stem cells from your bone marrow into the bloodstream. The key is consistent, long-term physical activity.
But the real game changer, LifeWave’s X39® Technology.
Imagine a product combination that can activate your stem cells, resetting them to a younger healthier state. This would represent a whole new level of vitality with improvements to your energy, sleep, reduction in pain, reduction in the appearance of lines and wrinkles and support of faster wound healing, just to name a few of the benefits.
LifeWave X39® patch. The first product ever is designed to activate your body’s own multipotent cells. By using our proprietary and patented form of phototherapy, X39® elevates the peptide GHK-Cu.
This is a naturally occurring peptide in your body that declines significantly with age. In fact, after the age of 60 your levels of GHK-Cu have dropped by more than 60%.
Independent third-party clinical studies on GHK-Cu have determined some remarkable benefits including support of the body’s natural wound healing process.
Perhaps even more remarkably, GHK-Cu resets the genes in the body to a younger healthier state. In initial clinical work performed by Dr. Loren Pikart, Dr. Pickart discovered that old liver cells, when exposed to GHK-Cu, started to function like younger healthier cells!
Optimum health and wellness can now be yours with X39, a new approach to improving the way your body fosters the flow of energy in your body for improvements in strength, stamina and beyond.
By gently stimulating the skin with light, our general wellness, non-transdermal patches help you conquer your active lifestyle and pave a new way to vibrant health.
