Dr. Mischley's work is focused on identifying the nutritional requirements unique to individuals with PD. She is Principal Investigator of the Modifiable Variables in Parkinsonism (MVP) Study (MVP-study.com), which is attempting to describe why some people with PD progress slower than others.

Researcher, author and Movement Disorder Neurologist at the University of Rochester notes that most cases of Parkinson's are not hereditary meaning they are caused by the environment. Chemicals like TCE and Paraquat have been shown to cause Parkinson's and are still in use in the U.S. Change will not happen without us demanding change.

15 years ago I met Rick and Jill when they participated in an exercise research study through USC.

I’m feeling extra fortunate today for the special opportunity to work with people over the long term and build such meaningful relationships.

Rick brings amazing energy to every class, just this week at team meeting we discussed how he cheered on his partner when they were pushing the sled… “Let ‘er rip!” He shouted, and that’s our new favorite cheer

Exactly 5 years ago, on Monday November 18th, 2019 we hosted our first class at our new space!

A lot has happened in 5 years and I’m just so grateful to be exercising with so many of the same people! Exercise is medicine and we see the results of everyone’s hard work every day!

Thanks to all our amazing members for spending their precious time with us and trusting us with their health and fitness goals!

Can’t wait to see how we grow and thrive in the next 5 years!

Thanks to Teri and Ann we have cleaned up the planters in time for our 5 year anniversary!

5 years ago when we moved in, there were dead bushes in this space. Teri brought a bunch of clippings from her yard and they have thrived! So much so they were a bit overgrown and out of control!

7 bags of yard waste later and with a lot of extra plants to give away we are happy with the results!

What a day!
