A message and update to my Yoga students and friends:
This is important, so thank you for your patience with a long read!!
I am in a place of quiet patience at the moment with my health holding me here right now, unable to do anything but plant seeds for the future. I know I have been noticeably losing energy, strength, and gaining weight. I was sick for a long time and had no answer. Fortunately, now I do, and have a plan of action to solve it with my doctors. I’ll be getting abdominal surgery this month.
Things seem so uncertain yet I have a uniquely positive and grateful perspective. If I haven’t been reaching out in the past little bit, just know I’m still here for you and see your posts and messages.
I haven’t been posting much yoga content at all, just know it’s still a huge part of me and my day to day. I’m just so exhausted under the radar. I have no energy physically and very little mental power each day, usually when I first get up. But I strive to find “yoga moments” and bits of movement.
In a few months, after I recover, I’ll begin launching some new YOGA related courses on my BRAND NEW WEBSITE! It will have courses, easy ways to get advice and schedule lessons, forums for you to connect with other likeminded yogis, free yoga classes with me and much more.
Feeling blessed that I’ll be able to return to my passion of teaching yoga. I’m about to finish my yoga alliance accredited RYT-300 course, making me an RYT-500!!! With my teaching hours, I will be an E-RYT-500 within a year from that— the highest yoga certification.
I have so much new inspiration and knowledge and I can’t wait to put it into practice. I’ll be offering one on one lessons again, probably exclusively.
I specialize in modified/adaptive/trauma sensitive yoga and will be shifting focus away from groups and more to one on one or smaller groups where I can help you achieve your goals even faster and with more supervision and breakdown— so you truly understand yoga!! I’m stripping the veil away and showing you the complete breakdowns, workshop style, or gentle flow paced. I can modify around injuries and have worked with students ages 6-75!
To everyone that has reached out and showed me love, or said that they miss my class, it means the world to me to know that I had a tiny positive impact on your day, even for an hour. I really appreciate you all and I will notify you of my return!!
