Pharmacy Trivia Tuesday
How well do you know common kids’ medications? 💊 Acetaminophen is a go-to for pain and fever relief when dosed correctly. Ibuprofen is another safe option, often used for similar symptoms. Diphenhydramine helps with allergies and sometimes sleep, but should be used cautiously in little ones. Aspirin, however, isn’t recommended for children under 12 because it can cause a rare but serious condition called Reye’s syndrome. Did you guess correctly? ✅ The answer is Aspirin. As always, talk to your pharmacist or doctor before giving any medication to children.
