The famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, has predicted 6 more weeks of winter after seeing his shadow this brisk February 2nd morning.

Don't let Phil get you flustered! Use this start of the month to reflect on how your 2026 resolutions have gone so far this year.
What has worked well?
What were barriers that you didn't expect?
What needs to be reworked?
Take the time now to make the adjustments needed so that in 6 weeks time the resolution is now a regular habit, and winter weather is hopefully a thing of the past!

With another cold weekend coming, we want to hear your hacks for keeping warm, positive, and well rested! Here are some of our favorites:

✨Write some positive affirmations on sticky notes and place them around your house where future you will see them.
✨Take an “everything shower.”
✨Lie on the floor with your legs up the wall. Close your eyes. Spend at least five minutes here and let your whole body soften.

Winter weather can bring days of cold, snow, and darkness.

Make sure to keep your environment full of as much natural light as you can manage - open blinds first thing in the morning, arrange your work space near a window, or bundle up if the sun is out to go for a quick walk. If natural sunlight isn't available as much as you would hope, consider a light therapy box to utilize 20-30 minutes a day to help increase your light intake.

Getting this natural light regularly can help boost your mood, regulate sleep, and combat seasonal affective disorder. Let the light keep your spirits light!

We currently offer the following therapeutic services:
Individual therapy
Couples therapy
Family therapy
Group therapy (check out our pinned posts for specifics!)

All of our therapists utilize different evidence-based models for their practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the Gottman Method, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) among others.
