A new paper from World Health Organization (WHO) shows that investment in midwifery models of care is key to improving outcomes and experiences of care through pregnancy and childbirth. Despite being an evidence-based, cost-effective model to improve maternal health, midwives are significantly underutilized around the world.

We are now accepting applications for a primary under supervision midwifery student position beginning January 2025.

✨requirements✨

-Available to attend clinic three days a week and be on call for births.

- Comfortable attending births at home and in a birth center settings.

-Phase 1 & 2 completed.

- NRP and CPR certifications up to date.

-Attend weekly preceptor check ins, monthly skills days and quarterly evaluations.

-Sign a preceptor- student contract.

-Lead prenatal visits, consult and educate patients prenatally and during labor.

-Manage on call phone, lead birth team of three.

-Order labs, file paperwork, manage cases in every aspect as primary.
