In summer heat, the air inside your tires expands fast. In fact, the pressure can jump 1–2 PSI for every 10°F rise in temp!

While tires don’t literally sweat - they do “breathe” by flexing under pressure. But too much pressure = blowout risk.

Pro-tip: Check your pressure regularly + when tires are cold, like first thing in the morning. Don’t overinflate and get them inspected before summer trips.

Safety Fact Friday! Ever zoned out while driving and suddenly thought, “Wait… how did I get here?” That’s called highway hypnosis - and it’s more common than most people realize.

After 2 hours of highway driving, your brain can slip into autopilot. You’re technically awake, but your reaction time slows and your focus fades.

Why do windshields crack like a spiderweb… but don’t shatter everywhere?

It’s because they’re built with laminated glass - two layers of glass with a plastic film (PVB) sealed in between. If something hits your windshield, the outer glass might break, but the plastic layer keeps everything stuck in place - no flying shards in your face.

This laminated design also blocks up to 99% of UV rays and even helps quiet the cabin while you drive. It’s been saving lives since the 1930s - and it’s still working hard today!
