Fun Fact Friday!

Meet the Amphicar - half car, half boat, all vibes. 💡 Built in West Germany in 1961, it was the first mass-produced amphibious automobile, with just under 4,000 made.

The Amphicar Model 770 could hit ~70 mph on land and ~7 knots on water (hence the “770” in its name). You’d need to grease it in 13 places (including under the seat!) after every swim - but hey, it was the only car that let you skip the bridge entirely.

Iconic, weird, and just the right amount of impractical.
