Good morning!
We wanted to share this reminder about ways you can access the office for visits and provide information about additional services. Our goal is to have available appointments each day to limit the number of patients needing to visit emergency rooms and urgent care centers.
Direct Scheduling Through Patient Gateway: You can schedule same day sick visits with doctors and nurse practitioners you have seen before on Patient Gateway without calling the office. We hope to offer online scheduling of physicals and medication follow up visits in the near future. You can also call for same day appointments as there may be additional times available than what is available on Gateway.
Walk-in Clinic: We continue to have walk-in availability in the Foxboro office Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 8-9 AM. This is for quick sick complaints or symptoms, not complex or chronic issues. On arrival, text 508-543-6306 with the name of the patient and our staff will register you to be seen.
Evening hours: We are open in either the Foxboro or Wrentham office until 8 PM on Monday through Thursday evenings. We are able to provide physicals, medication follow-up, consults, and sick visits during evening hours.
Weekend hours: We share call with Pediatric Associates of Norwood and Franklin and either we open in the Foxboro office or they open in the Norwood office on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, typically with availability until 12 or 1 PM for sick or urgent visits.
Additional services:
Amoxicillin allergy testing: We are offering testing for amoxicillin and penicillin allergies by oral challenge on Thursdays in the Wrentham office for eligible patients. If interested, please call to set up an appointment with one of our doctors or nurse practitioners to screen for eligibility. If it is determined that the patient is eligible, our staff will reach out to schedule the challenge at a future date.
Ear piercing: We are offering ear piercing on Thursdays in the Wrentham office for vaccinated patients aged 4-12 months and 3 years and up. Please call to schedule an appointment.
Enhanced behavioral health services: Two of our nurse practitioners (Kevin Giuliano, PNP and Joie Curran, PNP) have dedicated time on Tuesday evenings and Thursdays during the day in the Foxboro office to evaluate new behavioral health concerns or medication follow-up visits. You can continue to schedule these visits with your primary care doctor, but if the need is more urgent this should provide quicker access to evaluation. We are able to manage the majority of ADHD, depression, anxiety, and other behavioral concerns on-site or provide referral when needed.
Did you know? Our doctors and nurse practitioners are able to provide medical management and follow-up of acne for our patients except for Accutane which requires a dermatology referral. We also manage most orthopedic injuries on-site, ordering x-rays at Patriot Place, and referral to orthopedics when needed.
We hope you find these services provide improved access and convenience. We are grateful for your trust in the care of your children and families!
